Roberto Carlos Braga (Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, April 19, 1941).Is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and businessman. He began his career under the influence of samba-song and bossa nova, in the early 1960s, changing his repertoire to rock and roll shortly thereafter. With his own compositions, usually made in partnership with his friend Erasmo Carlos, and versions of hits from the then recent musical genre, he founded the bases for the first rock movement made in Brazil. Known as the king of MPB.
